In 1998, the corporation produced 460 thousand tons of corn starch, out put value of RMB1.2 billion and sales income of RMB1.18 billion.
At the same time, tens of new types of products are being developed such as corn gluten meal, maize embryo cake, corn salad oil, fatty acid, oleic acid, fibre feed, corn inositol and gourmet powder. The products are qualified and credible. In 1996, the corporation became one of the China’s 100 industrial and trading enterprises in sales income and the China 500 largest joint ventures, meanwhile it was honored the “AAA Credible Enterprise” by China Agriculture Bank Shandong Branch. On the day of Sep. 10, 1998, the corporation brought out the CIS thoroughly, and set up a quality control system according to ISO9002 standard.
